LGBTQ+ PopOn: Travel & Tourism
We have a variety of programming tracts we've brought online,
including virtual advisory group discussions, workshop presentations, and expert panel discussions.
Round Table Panel Series: Travel & Tourism
In this episode of LGBTQ+ PopOn, we focus on travel & tourism, with a focus on how our panelists see travel changing and opening back up again in 2021.
From a recent WSJ article, hotel occupancy and restaurant reservations are up, airplane tickets are on the rise, and consumers have spent more on gyms, salons and spas in the past few weeks than they have during the entire pandemic and quarantine.
In addition to the topic of travel opening back up, we also chat about the Visit Britain #LoveIsGreat LGBTQ+ campaign, as well as IGLTA and their upcoming convention in Atlanta in September 2021, which may very well be one of the first in-person conferences and conventions most of us will be attending this year. David Paisley discussed a few highlights from their survey on LGBTQ+ travelers and COVID-19. Donnya dove into the new opportunities to be found in the world of remote and nomadic workers.
